City Center

The Hotel Rex was built in 1974. It has also been known under the name of the Turist Hotel. It was privatised in March 2003, and it has been known under the name of "Hotel Rex" since August 2003. The Hotel Rex is located directly in the centre of downtown, within easy reach of the Belgrade Fair, the SAVA Congress Centre, the Serbian Clinical Centre, embassies, the city railway and bus station, the "Ada Ciganlija" recreational centre, and a wide range of cultural and public institutions.The hotel was partly renovated in 1998, and ever since March 2003 extensive reconstruction work and the adaptation of the entire hotel area have been taking place.
