Grand Mercure Mt Lofty House is a country style boutique hotel in the Adelaide hills, on the fringe of South Australias wine making region. Only 20 minutes drive from the centre of Adelaide. The hotel is adjacent to Clealand Wildlife Park and Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens are also nearby. Grand Mercure Mount Lofty House was built by Arthur Hardy in the 1850s as a summer retreat for the Hardy family and was restored to a guest house with 8 rooms in 1986 and a further 21 rooms in 1988.
