The Hilton Dahab Resort is naturally sheltered in a salt-water lagoon and its white Nubian architecture and beautiful water gardens make the resort a uniquely laid-back, Bohemian-style retreat. The area is less crowded than many Egyptian resorts, and in addition to inspiring views of the mountains the resort is a great spot for windsurfing and, of course, diving. There are many attractions nearby including the Mountain of Moses, St. Catherines Monastery, and the Coloured Canyon as well as the fabulous Blue Hole dive site which is just seven miles from the Hilton Dahab.

There are 163 bungalow-style rooms at the Hilton Dahab Resort, all of which are air conditioned and have satellite television, high-speed internet access and a private balcony or terrace. This Dahab hotel also has an excellent selection of facilities including a private beach and a fully equipped diving and windsurfing centre with instruction for beginners through to experts.

The Hilton Dahab also has an inviting circular swimming pool where you can cool off after lazing in the desert sun and there is a separate childrens pool for younger visitors. Those in search of total relaxation should try one of the excellent outdoor massages. If however you are feeling slightly more energetic then you can enjoy a game of tennis or beach volleyball at the Dahab Hilton Resort. The hotel reception team is also more than happy to help arrange a glass-bottom boat trip or a tour of Dahabs other attractions.

A big part of any holiday in Egypt is the cuisine and the Hilton Dahab does not disappoint with its selection of restaurants and bars. From hot snacks and cold drinks at the beach bar to spectacular views and superb Italian or seafood dishes at Portofinos or Neptunes, you can be sure of finding a range of options to suit all styles and tastes. Neptunes is a seafood restaurant, which even has a special menu for children.

Eating and Drinking
With seating inside and out guests can dine under the stars at the Portofino Restaurant and enjoy fine Italian cuisine and a spectacular view of Dahab Bay in a romantic atmosphere. Alternatively, for those who prefer seafood, there is Neptunes which offers a range of speciality fish dishes including the catch of the day, and an international menu that includes Egyptian and Italian cuisine. A childrens menu is also available. For gourmet Italian cuisine and fine wines beneath the stars head for the open air Cielo restaurant where you can sample delicious risotto or home-made pastas from the open kitchen and enjoy the beautiful sunset as you sip an aperitif. The beachfront bar serves hot snacks and cold throughout the day and in the evenings there is Bedouin tea and shisha waterpipes. At the Coconut Bar overlooking the lagoon you can sip a cocktail and take in the Red Sea views or relax over a beer in air-conditioned comfort at the Hilton Dahab Resorts main bar, Windjammer where you can also try a game of billiards or darts or just unwind with bar snacks in front of the big-screen TV.
