Onice Restaurant of Villa la Vedetta has been reported in the most important Italian and international gastronomic guides, becoming thus an important reference point of the Florentine haute cuisine. Its elegant and luxurious ambiance, faultless service, the rich wine list mainly concentrated on the important Tuscan reds and the attention to raw material are characterizing traits that make Onice different and special. Two large arched glass doors lead from the garden with pool and Jacuzzi to the restaurant. Beneath the barrel vault ceiling, comfortable seats and settees in elegant grey, ivory and cream satin with cherry red touches are placed around the small glass and crocodile tables. The bar area is highlighted by the very light honey-coloured onyx bar on a transparent base lit from within, which juts out at the centre creating a perfect space for guests to meet and socialize. The transparent dimension is also emphasized by the Plexiglas shelves for the bottles. Onice restaurant is opened 7 days a week, both for lunch from 12.30 am till 2.30 pm and for dinner from 7.30 pm till 11 pm.
