Directly opposite the Pacific Ocean and within one kilometre to the centre of Kaikoura town. Kaikoura is approximately two and a half hours drive north of Christchurch. Travelling from the North, Kaikoura is approximately two and a half hours drive from Picton. There is also a daily train service- TranzCoastal- to Kaikoura from either Christchurch or Picton.

This is an excellent place to stay while in Kaikoura. Central to the town centre and also to the many activities on offer, for example; whale watching , swimming with dolphins, wine tours and Maori cultural tours. Bathrooms have a Luxury hydro-therapy Spa bath and a shower. There are kitchenette facilities in these rooms and tea/ coffee facilities. These rooms face directly to the Pacific Ocean. They are large and very well appointed, having only just been built. These are probably the best rooms available in the town. There is no restaurant on site. Next door to the property there is an excellent cafe that is open for breakfast and lunch, and there is another restaurant which is open for dinner. The property is a modern two storey building. Predominantly glass and concrete.
