The Scandic is located out of town at the intersection of the E4 and E20 motorways.

It is a good value hotel based out of the city centre. Bedrooms are small, but in good condition, set against the simple wooden furniture which is a colour scheme using pink and patterned cloth. Bathrooms are also in good condition. The restaurant is a simply furnished large room, centered on a square light pine buffet table. Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They serve traditional Swedish cuisine and the menu also includes dishes with a number of international influences It is a modern structure, built in a style typical of 1960s architecture, with large grey concrete panels dominating the walls.
